I want to start by saying THANK YOU! to everyone who showed up for our most recent beach cleanup this past Monday the 4th of August 2025 – it was truly a success with our attendance rate growing every month. Some folks attended all the way from Pearland. We had 24 people total and we covered over a mile of beach collecting and counting 185lbs of trash

Additionally, when our cleanup wrapped up, we raffled off a one-day free golf cart rental from our good friends at Sun and Sea Golf Carts in Surfside Beach (thank you Rick Morris for your generous donation). And it wouldn’t be a proper raffle if we didn’t give away some Quintana shirts and beach towels

***** Our next beach cleanup will be the Tuesday after Labor Day, September 2nd, 2025 – this time we will meet at 16th street and the beach to optimize our efforts and temporarily avoid all the construction traffic at the pier.
